The Urban Center is part of the Department of Entomology at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.  The Center has many objectives one of which is training programs designed for pest control professionals throughout Texas. Their web site contains some basic information about common bugs in our area. This site appears to be well maintained and updated regularly.

Texas Cooperative Extension "Insects in the City", a department of A&M University system. TCE's web site contains detailed fact sheets about common bugs in our area. Not updated regularly due to staffing issues, what information available is detailed, accurate, and informative.
