Pests, Rodents Burrowing Into Austin Homes During Cold Snap

People aren’t the only ones trying to stay warm during this cold snap. Pests and rodents are looking for a warm place to hide, and there could be some significant consequences if wild critters end up calling your home, their home too. “We have been inundated with rodent calls,” says Monica Malone, general manager at J&J Pest Control Inc. It has been a very busy 48 hours for Malone and her technicians. They’re seeing raccoons, rats and squirrels busting into attics and slipping under garage doors.
