Birds especially pigeons can transmit a variety of diseases to humans. When removing pigeons from your home/building it’s imperative that the droppings be cleaned up. As droppings dry and break apart they will aerosolize and be inhaled by humans. The inhalation of these droppings can transmit Salmonellosis, Histoplasmosis, Cryptococcosis, Psittacosis and other diseases. For more information on this go here.
